Goals

S.L.E.D. wants our VISION of attacking mental health and substance use disorder to begin with self-discovery. By crafting a specialized treatment plan for each client that will offer them a new sense of revived direction.

S.L.E.D. will administer mental health and substance use disorder interventions to include programs for preventing violence and stress (reducing availability of drugs, alcohol and access to firearms), employment, housing and community development (raising community awareness, conducting critical screenings events and leveraging social media).

S.L.E.D. will empower each client to: Take on Responsibilities - Promote Exercise - Instill Healthy Eating Habits - Advocate for Total Mental, Physical and Emotional Wellness.

S.L.E.D. will take a collaborative effort with our state and local government, healthcare professionals, residential treatment programs and most important, the Community and Family Model to implement a measurable Personal Mission Statement outlining a Call to Action.

S.L.E.D.'s Primary Goals

Assessment: We will explore the impact mental health & addiction has on individuals, families and communities. By assessing the effects, we can tailor interventions and support systems to address specific needs.

Prevention: S.L.E.D. will educate the public about mental health & substance use disorders, risk factors and early intervention. We will always promote awareness to empower individuals and communities to seek help to prevent addiction related harm.

Education: Educating the medical community on best practices to ensure that healthcare professionals provide effective and compassionate care to those who are struggling with addictions and striving mental health wellness.
